Quick answer: for most categories, including clothing and shoes, eBay US charges a 13.6% final value fee on the total sale (item, shipping and sales tax) up to $7,500, plus $0.40 per order ($0.30 for orders of $10 or less). Sneakers of $150 or more are charged 8% with no per-order fee. Handbags and jewelry are 15% up to their thresholds.
eBay charges its fee on sales tax too, even though it passes the tax to the state. Use the buyer’s rate if you know it, or leave it at 0 for a quick estimate.

Fees are for US sellers on ebay.com as listed in eBay’s Seller Center at the date above. Your first 250 listings each month are free to list, and after that it’s $0.35 per listing. eBay changes fees periodically, so check your seller dashboard for your exact rate.
can you resell designer goods?
Yes. In the US the first sale doctrine lets you resell a genuine branded item you bought, without the brand’s permission. That’s why resale platforms can exist at all. It doesn’t cover counterfeits, and you can’t imply that you’re an authorised dealer.
