Our Story
Fashion Law Journal is a venture of Legal Desire Media and Insights, A leading publisher of legal insights for the last 13 years. With Fashion Law Journal, the organisation aims to provide quality insights in field of Fashion Law by way of publishing insights in digital and print format. The organisation assists fashion brands in understanding the legalities in field, compliances and helping startup fashion brands availing govt schemes. The organisation also runs regular training, masterclass, and courses in Fashion Law.

The Student Editor will play a vital role in the journal’s research, writing, and editing process. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in fashion law and want to gain experience in the field.
Eligibility:
Student pursuing course in Law, Fashion, Marketing and Business across the globe
Commitment: Part-time
Work Profile of Student Editor:
– You will spend your time conducting statistical analysis, writing papers & presenting findings.
– Working on FLJ projects & campaigns in collab with fashion brands.
– Conduct qualitative research to prepare briefs on various global, national, and local policies relating to Fashion.
– Regular monitoring of relevant developments, policy trends and news articles related to Fashion Industry.
– Researching about corporate compliances for various product-lines.
– Closely analysing policies and their implementations in field of fashion.
– Editing submissions received for Journal (Print).
– Submission of regular write-ups for Journal (Print/Website). Atleast 2 submissions per week.
– Doing research work (database creation/case studies/judgments etc.) in fashion and law.
– Creating Content for Fashion Law Journal publications, Social Media (Instagram Reels/Youtube Shorts) etc. (Once per week)
– Working with core team for Offline/Virtual Events.
– Covering Fashion Events in your region (Expenses covered by FLJ)
Skills:
– Research: Good Research and Analytical skills, ability to make decisions between various research sources, and identifying credible data resources for needful work.
– Written & Communication: Ability to draft clearly and concisely, good written and oral language skills.
– Planning & Organizing: Allocates appropriate amount of time and resources for completing work and monitors and adjusts plans and actions as necessary
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Remote, Student Editor may be required to travel for attending organization event/meetings, etc. Travel & Accommodation will be sponsored.

Work Profile :-
- Reviewing submissions received for Journal (Print), Quarterly.
- Submission of regular write-ups for Journal (Print/Website). Atleast once a month.
- Delivering session during our Fashion Law Trainings, Masterclasses, Courses etc.
- Attending Editorial Board Meetings (Virtual/Offline) for finalising organisation campaigns, publications, events, etc.
