Sharvi Sharma

Sharvi Sharma is a second-year law student at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, currently interning at the Delhi High Court. Her legal journey so far includes representing her university in prestigious moot court competitions, contributing articles on contemporary legal issues, and conducting research in areas spanning constitutional law, competition law, and intellectual property. Alongside her legal pursuits, she is a professionally trained Kathak dancer with over a decade of experience, having performed on national and international stages in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). Observing the gaps in legal mechanisms for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage—particularly the nuances of Indian classical dance—motivated her to write this article, combining her legal acumen and artistic sensibilities to advocate for stronger cultural preservation frameworks.
